Had a busy but also _extremely_ boring day at work, so I'm now compensating with a pour of #Aberlour 12YO single malt #whisky, hoping tonight's lottery numbers get their act together before it's too late.

I really wish I had cognac in the house, the best thing that doesn't help when you've got covid, but a pour of #Aberlour A'bunadh Alba #whisky on ice isn't a terrible replacement.
The ice is partly because of the incessent coughing the virii have brought on, but mainly because it masks some notes I'm not all that fond of in this one.

My stepmother is so grateful for my yeoman service in removing the pernicious Bishop's Weed from her garden that I have been allowed to choose a duty-free treat for myself.
