@natalie I made an “ 🪗🦣” shortcut that includes the # and both emoji when I type “accm”

But yeah, Once we are here, we don’t really need to say that we’re here

@Emnox 🪗🦣 😹 @skybrian was just asking why I used 🧐

We’ll have to call a hashtag conclave to decide if is a useful catch-all (I think yes, but will throw in others do fun)

Glad we don’t need to match all the spellings!😬

@FolkiePhil
Hi, glad to see your post. Hope the reed gets fixed. I just followed a set of players and I'm keeping an eye out for folks too

🪗 🦣 may well become a thing if we could only decide what to call it 😹

Table of 30 different names for accordions in different languages. Gathered to include in the successful proposal for the #AccordionEmoji. Text: accordions are central to traditional and popular music styles around the world, so an emoji would serve all these regions and people. There is also no other emoji that represents the instruments compressing/expanding action. This emoji would be useful for musical and non-musical users to express this concept.
An Accordion emoji would represent many related instruments played in different types of music internationally. These would include instruments called: [30 names in three columns, including] accordeon, acordeón, akkordeon, bandoneón, concertina, dragspel, handHarmonika, melodeon, organetto, trikitixa.

Greetings from your neighbours! 🪗 🦣

The seems more popular that the here so far. You all are so organized. 😹

I've looked around to see if there's something like a instance, but haven't seen one yet. That could be a lively group ❤️‍🔥

Happy to find you today ☺️ @susannemclon@mastodon.ie @meanwell @deoradh @ursaborealis @givre @tomkeays @luke @jade and @knippy

I must say, "WriggleFingers" @jillsheep is the best screen name 👋🏼

A concertina held in playing position. It looks real, but it is crocheted! Made from brown yarn for the ends, black trim and white yarn for the bellows folds. The buttons are made of white buttons, sewn on the ends, with the player's fingers on them as if playing. The player is only visible from the neck down. They have jeans on and there is grass behind and below where they are sitting.

I'm trying to avoid the 🐦, but somebody there cited me about Le Prince's "Accordion Player" being the first movie musical (1888)
🎥 🪗

Gratifying. That's one of the lines in my book that makes me smile 😹

Frames of Le Prince's 1888 Accordion Player film. Black and white images show a person in a suit playing a small button accordion, moving side to side in a dancing motion. Behind are the steps up to a house. Reproduced as a photo one-sheet, with the 19 frames lined up in five columns of 4 or 3 images. The old film is degraded, with many scratches and rough edges.Four blown up frames of Le Prince's 1888 Accordion Player film showing much greater detail. Black and white images show Le Prince's son Adolph smiling while dancing side to side playing a small button accordion. Behind are the steps up to a house. The old film is degraded, but these four frames, are quite clear. There are hand written numbers beside the frames, 56, 16, 57, 17, 52, 13, 53.

@Emnox
Very considerate, nicely done 👏🏼

reminds me how a web company (I don’t know what they do) in Spain suggested people follow their tweets using the hashtag on 🐦

We laughed thinking of all the 🪗 wallets, folders, window-blinds, pleated skirts, car windshield reflector things, and web-menu designers we had to wade through to curate

So far, 🪗🦣 remains blissfully free
