My BFF wanted to have some light-up eyes for a costume that she's making, specifically ones that would react when she spoke. So I made her this little assembly, which holds some round LED boards a nice distance away from some LED black acrylic. I'm driving them with WLED running on an Adafruit Mini Sparkle Motion board so it can be powered off a battery pack. The built-in mic means she can have her voice-reactive eyes too!

Here is another sketch running, turns out the font not upside down, just flipped and I'm starting to wonder if it is a weird quarky display panel - like the panel is backward, and it's not really a problem of the library.

Thou, Adruino_GFX library seems to be fine using this display.... maybe I should just use that library.

This is a Wemos ESP32-S3 pro mini board, it has a 0.85" 128x128 #GC9A01 LCD, and I'm using an #Adafruit Library - which seems to work very well - except when it comes to displaying text.....
It's like the #font is render flipped and upside down, has anyone seen this before - how would you go about fixing it?

Наверное каждый любитель электроники имеет в запасе модули приобретенные на всякий случай. Так несколько лет назад я не смог пройти мимо 1.5 дюймового E-Ink дисплея, лежащего на витрине радиомагазина. Через некоторое время нашлось для него применение. В статье ESP32 E-Paper Thermometer описывается, как отображать окружающую температуру, измеренную с помощью датчика DS18B20. Проект выполнен в Arduino IDE. Но я решил пройти "Путь самурая" и портировать код на ESP-IDF. Пришлось немного повозится с библиотеками для работы с дисплеем. На этом мой путь не окончился, как говорят: "У самурая нет цели, есть только путь". И я решил, что было бы неплохо добавить еще несколько сенсоров, измеряющих влажность, давление, CO2, а потом отправлять эти данные по MQTT. В том же радиомагазине был приобретен фанерный домик-конструктор со светодиодным ночником. А в другом магазине - модуль с датчиками. Таким образом родилась идея сконструировать Micro-smart-home. На передней части домика расположен дисплей на пластиковых стойках. А с другой стороны расположен модуль с сенсорами.

Sounds like I’m getting in way over my head with this but haha

Bought a couple breadboard power supplies from Canaduino awhile back. Noticed one on a friends bench and after examining it decided I needed one too. Better than the ones with linear chips. If this fails it just stops working does not send whatever source voltage was to your project. Took awhile to get. They used a shipper called Sendle to ship it from Canada to the U.S.

If you know someone who is getting into electronics this is perfect!! Yes I did have to go over and help a bit as well as lend tools but she solved it herself and then broke the code. And asked if I could find more things like that for her. Wish the old version of #Heathkit still existed. #Ramsey still is around. And #adafruit has a few things that might interest her.

Need to find a new source to have boards made.
As long as the boards are small I use Osh Park. Need to find a place for larger boards in the U.S. Anyone use Digikeys DK Red Service? Or another?

Osh park is expensive if you are doing larger boards. Is OK for a business but not a casual hobbyist.
