The Wakhan district of Badakhshan will come under full telecommunications coverage.

Three telecommunications sites have been activated with the assistance of the Wakhan district leadership and the "Agha" office.

Local sources told Harat Radio's correspondent in Badakhshan that the telecommunications sites have been installed in the Kibkot, Rurnak, and Niras villages of the district, bringing 12 villages under telecommunications coverage.

With the activation of these telecommunications sites, the communication problems of the area's residents have also been resolved.

Local officials have said that the range of telecommunications services will continue to extend towards the Burghil border area.

Residents of the area are pleased with the telecommunications facilities and are requesting even more attention to the region.

The General Directorate of Municipal Affairs has announced the approval of approximately 200 development projects worth 2.341 billion Afghanis in the current solar year in the cities of Herat, Jalalabad, Kandahar, and Mazar-i-Sharif.

According to the directorate's figures, 79 projects have been approved in Herat, 34 in Jalalabad, 26 in Kandahar, and 16 in Mazar-i-Sharif.

It is reported that most of these projects have been completed, and work on the remaining ones is continuing rapidly.

The General Directorate of Municipal Affairs stated that holding educational seminars and establishing necessary coordination has led to a noticeable improvement in the clarity and quality of services.
