The Chinese #Apple clones of today are really becoming more and more 'blatant' in their cloning - I'm impressed and surprised Apple does not really do anything about it, considering how Apple and #Samsung used to go to court a lot for a looooot less.
Brands like #Xiaomi and #Huawei used to have really ugly designs/software, but now the OS may actually fool you into thinking it's #iOS.. sorta. As a long time Apple user, I dig it - the only thing I think is holding them back is #Android, which always feels kinda jank - but for Huawei at least if not also Xiaomi, their China-only models actually come with their own OS, #HarmonyOS, and it really looks to be shaping up pretty nicely (again, very Apple like UI/UX - which is good in my books).
This Xiaomi flagship has been grabbing lots of attention lately with its design clearly ripped off from this year's Apple flagships - their naming scheme too has been made identical lmao (Xiaomi 17, 17 Pro, 17 Pro Max). I think Xiaomi still uses Android in both China/Global markets, which is, meh - but I'm looking forward to Huawei releasing HarmonyOS devices outside of China sometime in the future.
Still tho, I know this isn't a popular op - from both Apple fans/haters, but I appreciate when a company knows they're inferior in something i.e. UI/UX - just.. copy that shit from others that do it well, man. Why release an original garbage, when you can release a decent, unoriginal clone. You do that enough, eventually, you might be able to release something both impressive and original. This shouldn't be limited to aesthetics - somebody really gotta start copying Apple's other, objectively superior shit too like their scrolling/touch experience on #macOS and iOS. Everyone else's 'implementation' of this seemingly basic thing, feels jank. Even something like #AirDrop which is an absolutely essential feature among Apple users, is more of an unused/unknown gimmick on Android - people still use shit like #WhatsApp/#Telegram to share ugly, compressed photos with each other.

Bei mir arbeiten jedenfalls diverse goglefreie #Android Geräte, #Linux Distros auf diversen Geräten, Server, #Nextcloud, #Kodi #Mediacenter, #TVReceiver, #Digitalkamera, #Actioncam, #Homeassistant, #Wallbox 1a zusammen.
Außerdem nehmt bei #Apple mal den Sync mit den Apfelservern weg, dann bleibt vom Zusammenarbeiten nicht mehr viel übrig. Vielleicht noch #Airdrop und #AppleTV, wobei ich bei Apples Geschäftspolitik selbst da Zweifel habe 😉
Aber man kann natürlich viel (!!!) Geld dafür bezahlen, #Apple (oder anderen #Datenkraken) seine #Daten auf dem Silbertablett zu servieren.
