This 99-year old #akiya has obviously been renovated at least once, possibly twice, but the best part about it is the irori Japanese hearth. It's ¥1.5M and comes with a 33 sq m vegetable garden and a 254 sq m rice field.

It's only 750m from a FamilyMart and 4.8km from the nearest grocery store, which is a ¥170 bus ride that takes 20 minutes. :ablobcatattention:

#Japan's #akiya (abandoned homes) have ballooned to nine million as of October 2023, accounting for nearly 14% of all homes in the country. The number is set to increase as Japan's population shrinks, ages, and moves from rural to urban dwellings. #AgingPopulation #PropertyMarketCrisis
