Zu Beginn des Finales—letzten 312 von 1229 Seiten—gibts schon den Epilog! Dabei wendet Danielewski einen Kniff an, der mich bereits bei #AlanMoore|s »Jerusalem« schwer beeindruckt hat; vorzügliche Anknüpfung an antike Phantastik, wenn Sprache Gemälde einer Ausstellung vor den Augen der Lesys erscheinen lässt.

Adam Walker hat mit einem Seminar zu #WilliamBlake begonnen. Durchaus eine Hilfe um z.B. tiefer in die großen (okkulten, spirituellen, philosophischen) Themen von #AlanMoore|s »Jerusalem« (2016; Deutsch bei #CarcosaVerlag 2024) einzutauchen.
Göttliches (Schöpfer*in) und Menschliches (Geschöpfe) teilen und sind miteinander verbunden durch: Vorstellungskraft (Imagination).

Um, #AlanMoore's #Illuminations (at least the first story) isn't helping to dispel the perception of how many of his female characters are victims of some sort of sexual predation. I'll give it a few more pages, but the first story, "Hypothetical Lizard," might warrant a hard pass. We'll see...

Lol! So funny moment watching #AlanMoore's writing course. He recommended finding published writers that make you think, "I can write better than that!" or ones that really offend you. #HPLovecraft and #AlanMoore both came to mind. Like a lot of folks, I have problems with both of those writers, but I can still be inspired and / or offended by them. (And yeah Moore's treatment of female characters is very problematic, as is HPL's).

So, I was gifted with an #AlanMoore writing course. WOW! This seems tailored to someone like myself, and no, he doesn't have to explain the magickal terminology, but I'm digging hearing him speak! Good stuff! Will, in the magickal sense and in the writing sense, is so important in manifesting one's work!

Hubby bought me an #AlanMoore writing course (pre-recorded, not live) for X-mas. So psyched!!! Moore's "Providence" series, as disturbing as it was, showed me how the #Lovecraftian universe can be tweaked and reinterpreted -- which is what I'm doing with my own saga -- emphasizing all the Lovecraftian elements of my upbringing... Lovecraft wasn't exaggerating about the fish stench of "Innsmouth" -- I remember when Newburyport had open-air fish markets back in the 1970s, and it STANK!
