#cinema #watching #movies
When not watching England in the EUROs, I managed to catch a few films over the last week and a bit.
Films I finally got around to seeing:
1979s #AllThatJazz, Bob Fosse's clearly autobiographical ode to himself. Roy Scheider was great but overall I was not impressed. Maybe it would have felt less disjointed scene wise and more theatrical had I viewed it on a big screen.
1999s #FightClub LOVED it! Acting was great from everyone, including Meatloaf π I swear that Helena Bonham Carter is going to get an Oscar one day.
1993s #MrsDoubtfire Just a nice family film. Totally predictable in it's slapstick instances and yet it didn't end patly by having the parents reunite. Robin Williams was a delight.
1983s #WarGames Maybe it is the 80s child in me but I didn't feel like my time had been wasted by watching something soooo dated in terms of style etc... Is it a rewatch? No, but I can now check it off of the year's list.
Not sure what I will be watching over the next week or so but tonight is 1974s #Chinatown with Jack Nicholson and Faye Dunaway
