@PukaMuriska me dió curiosidad y fui a ver cómo es el sitio. Está de puta madre. Se nota que su enfoque es la de ser un lugar seguro para que los artistas cobren su trabajo, ese es un enfoque bastante novedoso (y necesario) hoy en día.

La comisión que cobran a los clientes es bastante más de la que supuse (6%), pero creo que si les funciona. Si mal no recuerdo, Ko-fi solo cobra 8$ netos a los creadores, sin importar la cantidad, y les funciona, así que dudo que los de #Artistree sea tan descabellado.

Me gustaría saber por qué todas las plataformas de freelance te sacan un 20/30% de cada comisión menos #Artistree que te da el 100% más un extra que no tengo ni idea de dónde sale. Ya pregunté a atención al cliente varias veces porque no sé si se supone que el extra ese lo tenga que pagar yo? Y nada. Encima dicen que con lo que sobra plantan árboles??? Alguien sabe como es que funciona?

This was my fave #ArtPiece at #ArtisTree yesterday ❤️

Tanya Bub is an #EcoArtist who creates #sculptures of animals and people from #FoundWood and #RecycledMaterials. A signature feature of her work is making inanimate objects appear to be so alive that is it almost impossible to resist the feeling that there is a living being present.

This piece of art is called, Sitting With Grace - created in 2023.

Sitting with Grace is a sculpture project done in #collaboration, #OurPlaceSociety, #HausOfOwl creator, Ross Whelan and people in the #StreetCommunities in Victoria, BC. You can read more about the project and sculpture on #VictoriaBuzz :

"Dance of Rebirth" A masculine featured person with olive skin, wearing only a green skirt of some kind, dancing to the spiral of ravens around the sun shrouded in spinning clouds that seem to spiral with the motion of both the birds and the dancer. Plants and branches jut out in the same spiral motion from the cliff edge that dancer is upon, as if summoned by the dance itself.

This is a commission sheet for the artist Verati. There are five images: the header is a banner of Din Djarin from The Mandalorian reclining in front of a bi-colored background, holding the sign "Hot Dads in your galaxy." The middle three images are of a black and white samurai without a background with basic shading in red, the second is of a woman holding a cup while sprawled on a bed with a bunch of pillows, and the third is of a fully colored image of a man in fantasy military regalia standing in front of a burning city. The footer is another banner like the first image, this time of a hand reaching for the moon in greyscale.
