Excited to join this community. I'm Wes Whelan, a multi-genre artist and songwriter.
My sound is a unique blend of genres, influenced heavily by my upbringing in rural Appalachia and travels around the globe. In my songwriting, I focus on telling stories through my lyrics, finding ways to show empathy and foster connection and compassion.
Ultimately, I want my music to be a bridge. A bridge to different sounds, to deeper lyrical meaning, and to connecting with others through shared empathy. I believe art can inspire conversation and positive change.
