I forgot to share that I was fortunate enough to do some of the cover art for the 2nd issue of Mall Le Brí (there's been a slight name change) along with the Irish illustrator Lauren Lee!

Uhhh - my first ever crochet post is out now.

Let me introduce you to: Tiny Flowerpots, the series where we'll crochet multiple adorable little plants and add them to our crochet planters.

The first part is entirely dedicated to making a round flowerpot.
And the future posts will focus on making plants to put "in" the pots.

A playful door decoration featuring four leaf foxes crafted from dried autumn leaves. Fumbling through felting tip #2: the hoop is optional!

And it's very easy to correct mistakes by felting over it! A little work can go a long way, so it's fast, too!

You'll also break needles. You may or may not go through periodic spells of 'gleeful stabbies' that precipitate a needle break.

I give it a 9/10 recommended for the #disabled and #chronicillness crowd.

How do you folks store your embroidery thread?

I started embroidery kits last December and always had the thread provided.

Then my offspring suggested color-changing thread for the dots here. The suggestion was inspired! We love it!

But now I'm at a loss for how to store the remainder.

I made trigger tokens to remind me when I need to take actions with my #MTG decks, whether that's adding additional counters, or doing stuff under various circumstances. I love when I can combine two things I enjoy, like #ArtsAndCrafts and #MagicTheGathering.

Fumbling through felting tip #1: the foam block in the back is necessary. It keeps the needle from pulling up the print fabric on the way back!

(I was given a Chinese kit with no actual tutorial, so I'm figuring out out).

So far, I think felting is very promising for even the least crafty of us!
