Lumiere 2025, taking place in Durham, North East England, is now just over three weeks away.
Taking place across three evenings, from Thursday to Saturday, 13-15 November, although sadly, this year's event is going to be the last!
Lumiere, which transforms the city into an illuminated art gallery, has pulled in an estimated 1.3 million visitors since it began in 2009.
The event is also reckoned to have boosted the local economy to the tune of some £43 million.
Yet despite those impressive statistics, the event's organisers have declared that this year's biennial Lumiere festival will be the last.
So, if you've not already treated yourself to this free event (and even if you have), this looks like it could be your last chance.
