A link to the full text of 'Spirits and Stones: Shamanism and Rock Art in Central Asia and Siberia'. It includes my essay, 'Shamans, lamas and the social effectiveness of rock art' which juxtaposes the practice of Buryat shamanism with the 'artistic materialism' of Asger Jorn.
