family got me an old #westernelectric style #telephone for father's day! this one has had some real use. local area code and business leasing stickers on the bottom. the top row is recessed a bit so I'm sure it was used heavily with a #pbx at one point or another.

now to find my matching black phone and a couple of #ata devices. would be fun to have another #asterisk instance.

Got an email from GiffGaff about when the local 3G network (via O2) will be shutdown in August.

I've not found a LTE/4G/5G USB adaptor that works with Asterisk to all us to make calls, but I have been playing @osmocom 's instructions to allow VoWiFi using the SIM to authenticate, but I've not got it work yet. I guess I now have a deadline

Any suggestions for a hosted #Asterisk and #FreePBX hosting service? We want to do some VoIP calling testing and don’t want to have to dig into self-hosting for a quick play around with it all.
