“To the Aussie Share-house Everybody Called Home” is Track 12 of 13 from the album CReology of Cairns.
A loud, nostalgic salute to that chaotic era of life when you lived with your best mates and somehow it all worked—barely.
This is a thank-you to those share-houses that got you to where you are today. 🏠 🍻 😂

A sad day for Australian music. Rob Hirst, the powerhouse drummer and songwriter for Midnight Oil, has died. His relentless, driving beats were the engine room for some of the most powerful and politically charged rock anthems ever written. A true legend.

Just went down a little bit of a rabbit hole on the old Kerb and Gutter (Comb and Cutter Hotel, Blacktown).
I know a lot of Aussie bands played their in the 1970s and 1980s like Cold Chisel, Midnight Oil, INXS, the Radiators and the Angels, but I didn't know The Cure played there in 1980!
Ninajirachi has appeared on ABC Breakfast this morning after winning Australian Music Prize for 2025.
You can purchase her music directly on Bandcamp, her latest album "I Love My Computer"
