Après avoir remplacé Silence comme application SMS #Android (https://piaille.fr/@ciourte/114240081679264171), c'est le #lecteurAudio #VanillaMusic, également plus mis à jour, qui devient inutilisable pour lire de la #musique (plus de son, particulièrement avec les périphériques bluetooth).
J'ai essayé #Auxio qui a besoin de re-scanner la bibliothèque au démarrage pendant de longues secondes, reste actif en permanence si on ne désactive pas l'option de mise à jour automatique de la bibliothèque, et semble gérer Artiste ou Artiste de l'album mais pas les deux à la fois.

This week in #FDroid (TWIF) is live, but boring. Yes, the cycles run and run, yes 9 new apps are now included, yes 138 more updated. But as things go, with unattended updates, it's all background noise.

I'm all in now. I decided to become a sponsor for this GitHub project because it's just so great.

Auxio works great as a standalone android app with music kept local on device.

So much thought went into making the UX useful, yet elegantly simple. Nothing feels out of place, and nothing is there as a gimmick. I could point out a few specifics in another post.

Hi y'all. Thanks everyone for the #suggestions.
I ended up scrolling through F-Droid and installing every music player I could find. I installed and tested some 10 apps 😂
Luckily, I found 2 great ones!

They are #Auxio and #Symphony. Both feel great to navigate in, they look great, they are customizable... they feel like Spotify, basically, which I think is what I was looking for.
I'll use both for a few days and decide which one I like best.

Hi! Kennt sich hier irgendwer mit #auxio aus? Es kann doch nicht sein, dass ich einen Titel nicht mehr von einer Playlist entfernen kann, wenn er einmal drin ist?
Ich habe gerade eine komplette Playlist gelöscht und neu angelegt, nur weil ich aus Versehen einen falschen Titel hinzugefügt habe...

The #fossify audio player also ignores disc numbers, while #auxio properly separates discs.

It also does not show per-song artists, which is a shame because I have a lot of compilations.

I've tried a bunch of #android music player apps, and I think #Fossify 's music player is my favorite.

#Auxio is fairly decent, but if you have a big library, it takes 13sec to start up.
Fossify's player caches the entire library at once, which makes the app start quick.

Their search is also way more reponsive to find one track in ten thousand.
Auxio's search seems to run on the same thread as the UI, because it freezes while typing. Fossify doesn't!

Я в шоці. Ні Fossify Music Player, ні Auxio не змогли відтворити простий mp3 файл відкритий з файлового менеджера. Довелось встановити ще один плеєр. Є два схожі й мінімальні плеєри які працюють однаково це Little Music Player і Tiny Music Player. Обидва вони "Notification based" і підтримують Android 1.0+. Я не знаю що вибрати, яка різниця.

@hannesstein @jwildeboer Aim for a compromise: Use #Spotify to disover (some) new music, buy music on #Bandcamp fridays and physical media to support the artists. Even though I enjoy the convenience of streaming services I try to keep my favorite music stored free of DRM. Still using apps such as #Auxio on my #Android phone to play music. Setting up #Jellyfin on my new home is next, so I can stream all my stored music to any device.

I don't know why the app Auxio or other one can't scan music library when the files are in the SD Card. And yes! The app has permissions to see SD. :mortysad:

Well have to looking for any solution for that...

#auxio it's starting to making problems in my android, I don't know what's the reason but It can't add new songs, the .flac It don't show up... I do re-scan but nothing happens.

So, since I get mpv-android I use this. If exists any music app ultra minimalist I am all ears
