My entry for the GB Pixel Art Jam2025! The theme was "Balance" with a constraint of 1-bit art and 192 unique tiles (so that it can display on original Gameboy hardware).

When I read the theme this year was Balance, one of my first thoughts was of the Ocean and Moon spirits (Tui and La) from Avatar the Last Airbender! I actually did a 16x16 piece of them for a pixel daily a few months ago, so it sounded fun to do a much higher res version for the Pixel Jam! Their Yin/Yang theming also lends itself to a 1bit style, so that's where I landed.

Day 4 - Murky

I couldn’t think of anything but the swamp benders from ATLA. And I threw in a baby bullfrog! Idk if that’s actually an animal in the series, but I could only imagine how big it would get….
