I meant do share this a while ago, but on the whole #AI thing, there is a line in a recent #BBCNews article:

That #Google's recent changes "mean less time spent browsing the web itself, and more time spent talking Google's AI tools".

bbc.com/news/articles/cpw77qwd

i.e. get your information in one place. One "point of trust". And stuff it if you own a website with useful information on it, it's just Bot Food™.

As an owner of a website, it does make me wonder...why bother if the SE's are against you?

Leo Gebbie, principal analyst and director for the Americas at CCS Insight, said Google had been expected to wrap Al more tightly into its products.

He said he thought the chatbot would help minimise the number of web pages that users must sift through, while also allowing people to ask more complicated queries. "For the end user, this should mean less time spent browsing the web itself, and more time spent talking with Google's Al tools," he said.

Dear

Maybe people would better understand the criminal sentence if you referred to this as a "violent tweet", not a "racist tweet".

The judge is clear that the sentence was directly tied to her incitement to violence (eg, burning down migrant hotels).
