World leaders are having a nice time in Nice, where they’re supposed to be ratifying a treaty that would protect our oceans.

We’re asking them to answer the call, and meet the deadline they set themselves. We need at least 60 countries to make the treaty law to make it legally binding.

The specific countries are:

The EU doesn´t count as a separate ratification, but likely means we will soon see more european countries' official ratification.

That's just over a third of the 60 needed for the Treaty to come into force and build a legal framework for protection of the high seas! 🐳
