The Northern Tornadoes Project has confirmed a #tornado near #Sechelt #BC on November 4th associated with the squalls that passed through that morning.
Interestingly our last confirmed #BCcoast tornado was also in Nov in 2021! 🌪️

The two strongest wind gusts I could find today in the #BC #LowerMainland/Metro #Vancouver area were just a shy over 105km/h (65mph) at #PointAtkinson and atop the #AlexFraserBridge— Most other areas topping betw/ 50-80km/h.

#Coquitlam’s Burke Mountain at 291.4mm (almost a foot of rain at 11 and 1/2 inches!) receiving some of the heaviest precipitation amounts of this event. No wonder the flooding of Hyde Creek, Coquitlam River, and large landslide along Quarry Rd.
