#FirestoneWalkerBrewing is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2026, and (presumably) to kick of the celebration, the brewery recently sent me a number of beers to review, including the revamped IPA Mixed Pack and a six-pack of its original #beer Double Barrel Ale, which was the first beer released back in 1996.

Almanac’s collab with Ghost Town, “Exit Sandman” has obviously AI slop can art and it’s pretty disappointing. #beer
The next thing that shocks me is the 5.3% ABV. That's not amazingly high, but it is significantly higher than any Mexican lager I can think of.

Wee are going to be in Tacoma on Tuesday visiting Narrows Brewing, Peaks and Pints, and UP Station Bar & Grill for some Karaoke (hopefully).
Then Wee are headed to Bellingham on Wednesday to visit Terramar Brewstillery, Beach Cat Brewing, Gruff Brewing, and definitely some Karaoke at The Royal Nightclub in Bellingham.

24hrs in Edinburgh. A braw time was had 🤩
Finally got a chance to try this #beer I bought yesterday, Köstritzer Schwarzbier. Not bad, but not something I find too spectacular. Not sure if I would buy this again over something like Paulaner Salvator Doppelbock which is my favorite so far.
