Had my first close call in my #HonourMode run. Having hit level 5 and cleared the first area without any serious problems, I got complacent in the Underdark.
I didn’t pay attention to picking up all the necessary info in the Arcane Tower, so accidentally triggered the fight on the rooftop, and Bernard shocked me out of my complacency (pun int-END-ED).
Lesson learned, time to lock it in for the Grymforge

Good morning everyone. I'm up early with the parrots today and have just put Ziggy in for her breakfast after the briefest of cuddle sessions since she is absolutely starving don't you know and never fed enough by her cruel parront 😊 I'm still unable to access my new phone when she is out. As soon as I make any move towards it she is like greased lightning, trying to grab it out of my hand and making little purrs of delight as she contemplates how to "fwow it to the fwoor" as she did with my old one.
Jadie loves puzzles - chewing them that is - and I saw this cute wooden baby owl puzzle in Lidl yesterday so I had to buy it. Of course she is currently ignoring it, but maybe in a day or two she'll give it a go. Her current alphabet puzzle is looking a tad worse for wear so I'm going to have to find her another of those. We go through about three a year as she happily chews her way through all the letters 😌
Grant was very excited when he came back from his walk yesterday, and rightly so, because he had witnessed a gull fighting with an octopus! 😲 He said the octopus was spraying ink at the gull and really trying it's best to fight it off, but it lost in the end and was swallowed in one gulp. What a thing to see though - the odds must be huge of randomly stumbling into such a fight.
We're playing co-op BG3 again today. Some stragglers to clear out in the Goblin camp and then Grognak and Ethera are off on their next adventure. Probably to find Karlach and doing her quest if I can steer Grant towards that without giving anything away.

After a bit of a break from the game, I’m finally going to give unlocking the golden d20 a go. Shadowheart origin run, laid out plans for how to build everyone with (mostly) an attempt to balance building for strength with picking builds the characters would either do or be into (though making Minthara a wizard was too funny not to do. I’ve always found the presentation of Dark Justiciars strange if they’re supposed to be clerics, so that immediately went out the window.
