So it turns out I may be experiencing this issue that Will Prowse discovered a couple months ago, where 'smart' BMS batteries act weird in parallel such that only one battery will provide discharge current at a time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sW_FDLEmW3U&t=251s
That doesn't really make sense to me though, because the cell voltages in each battery are staying pretty close to each other. that shouldn't be possible without current also flowing.
I'll have to wait until the sun comes back out. The batteries get mostly charged back up, then I take the system back offline to top off each battery individually. reset SOC. Do more detailed current calibration, then put them back in parallel. I do have a spare victron smart shunt, so maybe I'll put one on each battery so I can document my issues more completely in case I need to haggle with the battery manufacturer.
