In 1993, Zimbabwe experienced a severe drought, one of several during that period. Victoria Falls is the largest waterfall based on its width of 1,708 meters (5,604 ft) and height of 108 meters (354 ft), creating under normal climate conditions the world's largest sheet of falling water.

Government is proposing opening 10 new opencast mines in Baobab country. This will decimate trees hundreds of years old. There is attempts underway to stop them, but I don’t have much hope. Very very sad. #nature #preservation

J'ai été bien étonné lorsque j'ai semé des graines de différents baobabs chacals et que ça a poussé, il y a un peu moins de 10 ans, puis que ça a fait des fleurs, puis cet été deux grosses gousse sont apparues sur l'adenum obesum...
