The Last Detail, c'est le duo formé par Mehdi Zannad (alias Fugu) et Erin Moran (alias A Girl Called Eddy) le temps d'un album, en 2018.
Je viens de réécouter cette splendeur #baroquepop et, du coup, je partage, juste pour le plaisir, la vidéo de la merveille des merveilles de cet album, à savoir "Lazy", la version en anglais de la chanson "Paresse", initialement sortie en français sur un album solo de Mehdi Zannad en 2011.
J'ajoute, mais cela va sans dire, que les trop courtes discographies respectives de chacun·e des deux musicien·ne·s sont indispensables, incroyables, inépuisables.

L'Archipel est un mémorable album d'Orwell sorti il y a 20 ans. Selon les titres, on pense alternativement aux envolées des Innocents et à la #baroquepop de Louis Philippe, parfois aux deux à la fois ("Happy where you are"). Bref, l'album est d'une richesse et d'une élégance rare.
J'en parle aujourd'hui parce qu'on ne parle jamais assez de la musique de Jérôme Didelot, mais aussi parce que l'album ressort aujourd'hui, enrichi de versions alternatives de deux des titres.
Cette réédition n'est pas (pas encore ?) disponible sur Bandcamp mais l'album d'origine y est toujours présent.
