Kooperativ entdecken wir jeweils mit unserem eigenen Schiff die Welt. Man sollte sich bei #BeaconPatrol gut abstimmen, um nicht mit seinem Schiff plötzlich in einer Sackgasse zu stecken. Die beiden Module im Spiel bieten nochmal zusätzliche Abwechslung und Herausforderungen. #Brettspiele

Played 3 new games this month:

1. Back to the future: Back in time -- I love the theme and design, but not sure about the replayability. Might be fine with different players. 7.5/10.

2. ito (it0?) -- simple rules but challenging to get it right! Fun to learn how others think about stuff. Everyone's scale is so different! 8/10.

3. Beacon Patrol -- not bad but nothing too exciting. Having a solo mode is nice though. 6/10.

Played #BeaconPatrol for the first time, a #Cooperative #BoardGame where you explore a coast with your friends!

You place up to 3 tiles per turn, move your boat into the placed tile, and can do up to 3 other moves. You may also swap tiles with another player with their consent.

Game ends when all the tiles have been placed.

Ein sehr entspannter Samstag an einem bislang sehr verregneten und daher faulen Wochenende. Perfekte Gelegenheit, mal wieder eine Partie #BeaconPatrol zu spielen. Bin noch immer erstaunt, wie angenehm sich dieser einstige Spontankauf spielt. Ein wahres Kleinod. #Brettspiel

Finally broke out Beacon Patrol again! The setup is a bit annoying (as all games that use a lot of tiles are), but it’s a good solo game when winding down for the day (or any time spent relaxing).

@gestalterrier Nope. Hab Dorfromantik noch nicht gespielt. Wollte ein Carcassonne, das mich thematisch mehr mitnimmt, bin zufällig über #BeaconPatrol gestolpert, habs spontan wegen der Größe, des Artworks und dem Blurb für wenig Geld mitgenommen und es bis jetzt nicht bereut. Für mich reicht das völlig. Dorfromantik soll ja prima sein, ist mir aber schon wieder zu groß, dafür, was es ist. Vielleicht will @blue dazu nochwas sagen?

Eben wurde #BeaconPatrol ausgepackt und direkt das erste Mal gespielt. Simple Grundregeln, blitzschneller Aufbau, aber auch abendfüllend komplexe Puzzleprobleme beim Kampf gegen die Wertungsklassen. Wir fanden's klasse und wurden direkt Kapitäne! ⚓️

Morgen dann direkt mal mit den Erweiterungen.

Am Ende war die #SPIEL23 deshalb auch für uns persönlich eine der entspanntesten seit einigen Jahren. Keine Vorbestellungen, keine Abhollisten, keine Rollkoffer mehr. Stattdessen nur eine sehr kurze Wunschliste für eine Handvoll kleiner Erweiterungen zu bereits bekannten, gern und oft gespielten Titeln (Concordia, Sea Salt & Paper, Deep Sea Adventures). Spontan mitgenommen wurden nur #EverdellFarshore und #BeaconPatrol. (Die Charactersheets zu #PirateBorg sind zu teuer, aber schon iwie cool.)
