A mostly yellow 1960s Bedford coach, queuing in Downham Market with 18th century shop buildings just visible behind.

The coach has a lot of chrome, surrounding the windows and also the black side stripe and black lower quarter, as well as a large chrome front grille holding four lamps.

A beautiful cream-over-green Bedford coach, queuing outside 18th century shops in Downham Market High Street. New in 1952, it has none of the chrome of later years, but a much curvier cuddly shape. The windscreen - made from four separate pieces of glass - curves around the front for better visibility.

Where to begin... a white Skoda 130, complete with red, perhaps 15 inch diameter, vinyl Skoda badges on the front left edge of the bonnet and the back of the right rear wing. But there's so much more: white alloy wheels with red backgrounds between the spokes, a plastic/glassfibre add-on panel in place of the front grille (it's rear-engined) which contains two rectangular spotlights, and a red - possibly leather - hood over the convertible bodywork. The hood is a little ungainly, looking like a pram cover with soft flexible rear side windows.

It's parked in a classic car show field, next to a light blue VW van and with a burger stall in the background. It is absurdly magnificent.

Young #autistic adults from #Luton and #Bedford gained valuable travel experience last week thanks to a partnership between Thameslink and Autism Bedfordshire. As part of a travel training programme, the group toured Bedford and Luton stations with Thameslink staff, learning how to buy tickets, find the right train, and ask for help. They also discussed platform safety and how to contact the British #Transport Police via text. The group then travelled to London Blackfriars and walked to Tate Modern as part of a summer art project. The initiative aims to build confidence and independence, helping participants access future work and social opportunities. #Autism Bedfordshire’s Angela Amitrano praised the project for easing anxiety around busy stations. Thameslink managers Andrew Chillingsworth and Joe Healy, the latter awarded a British Empire Medal for this work, supported the group. One group has even organised their own independent trip to Comic Con in #London.
