Koto Sushi in Jewelers Row District in Philadelphia, PA. When we got there sometime in early February, they still had their Christmas tree up in the restaurant, but I wasn't complaining. Christmas is one of my favorite holidays. Their food was pretty good, their gyudon was probably one of the best we've had at a take-out restaurant, I highly recommend it.

M Test Kitchen, an Asian Fusion restaurant in the Fenton shopping district in Cary, NC. They have a rotating menu so you'll always get something new each time you visit. Reservations are highly recommended! I managed to get an empty shot of the bar area as we got there right as they opened, and a few minutes later, the whole bar seating was packed! The beer featured on the third photo is a Sapporo. The drink on the forth photo is a Japanese take on a Hot Toddy, perfect for a cold evening out! Shot in January 2025.

Make sure you bring cash as the drink vendors do not take credit or debit! Also, make sure you stop by the chimney rolls vendor. After leaving Duluth, MN, we took a detour and spent a few days out in Cincinnati, OH. For my wife's birthday, we went to an Italian-Argentine restaurant called Alfio's, located in the Hyde Park Square neighborhood. I highly recommend their Empanadas! My wife got two different ravioli dishes, one had a butternut based sauce to go with it, and the other, a wild mushroom ravioli. As for my dish, I got the duck breast.

The beer in the 7th photo is a Rhinegeist Barrel Aged Cordially Yours. You can really taste the orange peels, cacao nibs, and a touch of the cinnamon, which makes it quite the hearty beer! Photos shot in October 2024.
