Oregon’s #PublicCoastBrewing released a new limited-edition pastry stout this month, inspired by the fluffernutter sandwich (that’s peanut butter and marshmallow) — Fluff N’ Good Stout. It’s brewed with peanut butter and freeze-dried marshmallows and is 9% alcohol by volume.

The latest #beer in the Farm to Market series from Portland’s #ZupansMarkets is a collaboration with #HettyAliceBeers on a #FreshHop IPA: Flash Frozen Fresh Hop IPA. As you might expect from the name, the fresh hops are frozen and shattered to extract the hop character.
Even though summer isn’t over, it’s #pumpkin season once again, as marked by the return of the Pumpkin Spice Latte and the release of the Pumpkin Variety Pack from #ElysianBrewing, featuring three of its most popular pumpkin beers in cans for the first time.

On Thursday, August 21, the University of Oregon hosted the launch party for Dang Green IPA, the first official #CraftBeer of the Oregon Ducks (U of O’s athletic teams), brewed in partnership with Eugene’s #HopValleyBrewing. The release is timed to coincide with the start of the Ducks’ football season which kicks off August 30 with their game against Montana State.

#BaleBreakerBrewing is releasing its latest beer, a fresh interpretation of the company’s original Field 41 #PaleAle — Yakima Pale Ale. Reimagined as a lighter, crisper version of the original, this YPA as the brewery calls it has 4.2% alcohol by volume and 100 calories, while maintaining its hop character.

Summer beers from Cannon Beach’s #PublicCoastBrewing are out, one of which is a collab with Portland-based #SmithTeamaker. The four brews span the gamut of styles from hazy pale to fruit to sour, available in cans and on draft.

#MashGang is a new (to me) brewer of #NonAlcoholic beers, founded in 2020 and dedicated to crafting NA beers that are “Expertly brewed to strength at 0.5% ABV using natural ingredients” (0.5% being the legal limit to be called non-alcoholic). The company is based in the United Kingdom and contract brews its beers in the U.S. for the American market.

The latest #beer in the collaborative Farm to Market beer series from #ZupansMarkets has the Portland grocery chain teaming up with #BreaksideBrewery to release a modern take on a West Coast #IPA. The beer is available now at Zupan’s various locations, and I received a couple of cans to review.
Recently Hood River’s #DoubleMountainBrewery announced its two newest releases in #beer and #cider, and I received a bottle of each: ClusterF#ck IPA, in the brewery’s From the Vault series, and Zora Hard Cider, a new addition to its seasonal ciders for 2025.

Explore Lincoln City, the tourist agency for #LincolnCity on the #OregonCoast, has for 25 years been hiding glass floats on the beach for people to find. #PublicCoastBrewing released two new dark beers for the winter, stRANGER Tides Chocolate Cherry Stout and Dunkel Dreams spiced lager. These were brewed in collaboration with Portland companies Ranger Chocolate and Smith Teamaker, respectively, and feature specialty ingredients from each. I received cans of the new beers to review.

The #FreshHop beers from #DoubleMountainBrewery have returned, and in conjunction with the releases, the brewery sent me a bottle of this year’s Killer Green Fresh Hop IPA. The other standards are back as well—Killer Red Fresh Hop IRA, and Fresh Hop Iowa Bar Fight—and this year, there’s going to be a fresh hop edition of Velvet Wallpaper IPA too.

The latest non-alcoholic beer to come from #TwoRoadsBrewing is an NA version of its flagship beer, Road 2 Ruin Zero. This NA IPA joins Non-Alcoholic Juicy IPA in the brewery’s lineup, and the company sent me a couple of cans to sample.
Here’s a fun new #IPA from #DoubleMountainBrewery, in which the company collaborated with Bend’s own #VanHenionBrewing: Velvet Wallpaper IPA. Fittingly, it’s a west coast style IPA, playing to the strengths of both breweries.
