Yesterday an office friend asked me to try one of the other Bethesda games, cos he knows I am a big Fallout 4 fan but.
Then I remember all the bugs I encountered with Fallout 4 on my PS4, and how I finished fallout on the 5th? save only earlier this year (all other attempts crashed and burnt or the bugs were so bad I had to restart all over again. Also I like to do the side quests - who is Shaun anyway? What son?).
And no. I rather go play the old fallout games.

I am trying to play some Bethesda games via GFN streaming. Here are my results so far:
Fallout 4 via Steam continues to struggle. After the recent patch from Bethesda. Loves to hang up still. Unplayable. Even unplayable via #steamdeck, although it is marked as verified.
Fallout 3 GOTY Edition via Steam instantly hangs up with a cryptic error message. Thank goodness I also own the game on the Epic Store. This version seems to run flawlessly. Still has troubles with the Steam Deck.
The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim, in the latest version, runs via GFN and plays very well. No complaints here.
Bethesda games seem to be a mixed bag nowadays. Fallout 4 remains a disaster. I am going to play the game on my Xbox Series X again, and I hope it runs well there.
Starfield is running well on Xbox Series X.
But if this is, what Bethesda is able to pull out today, this is pretty poor! ...
