Der VDH-Vorstand hat den Biewer Terrier als nationale Rasse anerkannt. Die Betreuung der Rasse wurde dem Verband Deutscher Kleinhundezüchter e.V. übertragen. Auf Internationalen und Nationalen Ausstellungen kann er ab dem 01.05.2024 vorgeführt werden.
