#Mavericks is installed. Now I am jumping the gun to install #BigSur. Then with #openpatcher legacy I will move to #Sequoia 😈

Is anybody as suspicious as I am about these new updates Apple is pushing out for old OS versions? I got notifications on my old Catalina and Big Sur macs, installed one of them and realized it's a full-on OS replacement, allegedly for "security" updates. But I get this niggling feeling that it could also be enabling an array of snooping & tracking features nobody is mentioning. Has anybody around here analyzed what these updates actually do?

A Storm is Coming:

While people coming to Big Sur are understandably seeking views with crystal blue skies, deep green redwood forests, and sheer cliffs overlooking the endless Pacific waves, I have grown to love all of its moods.

Today the Sur was silent, pensive, wet, and overcast, ahead of the coming storms; leaving the roads and trails empty and waiting for brighter days.
