#tourism seems a bit off so far at the start of the summer high season here in #Monterey and in #BigSur on the #California coast.

The town doesn't feel very full. I'm not hearing as much non-English being spoken.

Down in Big Sur today it felt more like a February day than an early June day in terms of numbers. We walked right in and got a table immediately in a mostly empty Deetjen's. At Big Sur River Inn but parking was easy and it wasn't crowded even with the live music.
