Day 22 #30DaysOfBiking: Rode to my evening improv class at the parks/rec center, which lets me park my bike inside (super awesome). Sunny day warm on my face, sweet-smelling blooming trees and bushes and flowers, heard a red-winged blackbird call and saw it high in a tall tree. Y'know, the things I don't experience if I drive.

Day 17 #30DaysOfBiking: Today was Go Orange day at my agency for work zone safety awareness. My orange garb went from professional during the day (walked to the nearby rhododendron park at lunch for the pic) to casual after work when I rode with my sweetheart to a local farmstand (scored fresh eggs and a big bunch of asparagus).

Day 12 #30DaysOfBiking: Rode home via Wayside Vegan Cafe in downtown Olympia, where I stopped for some delicious takeout.
Day 13: A quick helmet-free jaunt to the nearest Little Free Library to drop off a couple of books. Love this one; it's called Barbara's Book Barn and it's on my route to Squaxin Park. Breeze in my hair was awesome too.

Day 6 #30DaysOfBiking: Rode Mary Poppins around our little neighborhood loop in the rain, with birds calling and the gentle thump of yet another low tire. Need to give all my bikes a turn more often.... When I first got Mary Poppins she only had 8 speeds bikestylespokane.com/2012/11/12/my-…. Later added another ring to get to 16, which gave me "super-low-granny gear" needed in Seattle. Still call this one my happy bike.
