Normal values (content in one liter of blood in an adult on an empty stomach): less 2.3 mg (less 4 µmol)
The main reasons for the increase in concentration: Hepatitis; Obstruction. Conjugated bilirubin is formed in the body from hemoglobin, myoglobin or cytochrome.
