The Bill Crow Quartet - Jazz Anecdotes
Crow has been a sideman for years, on many albums you've probably heard, but in the mid-90s he recorded two as leader for Venus, a Japanese label.
This is the 2nd of the two, titled after his memoir, where the quartet (Crow on bass, Carmen Leggio on tenor, Joe Cohn on guitar, and David Jones on drums) tackles a bunch of (mostly) standards.
Very well recorded at the Van Gelder studio.
