This is my Popov. Its his birth month, and right now its his #birthday every day.
There was a whole year and a half that the ferals in my neighborhood were just at my house and having hoards of babies. It was hard for me trying to fix the problem in between all my jobs, mounting stress and little time, but i eventually got all of them neutered, and homes for all the kittens in all 3 litters. I kept the mother from the first litter and a baby from the second litter. Sadly, the kitten i kept died after a few months, and i miss him deeply, but somehow i found room in my heart to keep another kitten from the last litter. And that's how Popov got here.
Hes a whole year now, and hes still a baby - sleeping all day but playing and crashing into things all night! He loves snuggling on his terms, and even though he fights it, he loves being brushed. Hes crazy about catnip and toys and might be the most relaxed cat ever. The litter he was in seemed like a batch of runts, they were all extremely small and the mother dropped them on our door. Popov is still very tiny for 1 year old, but he's got a personality to make up for it.
