Couldn't get a Christmas tree because we have two cats - and they would destroy it.

So we decorated the cat tree instead. Now they can climb it as much as they want. And tomorrow, when we take the decorations down, they won't be disappointed because their tree will stay.

Here is another Meggie Christmas photo, this time playing in the wrapping paper. A trick of the light makes her appear to have differently coloured eyes.

Laurie had a quiet week, with a poorly tummy, but is back on form now - & brought us a New Year 'gift', which he left next to the bread bin for us to find. I wish he wouldn't bring us little gifts, but I can't be ungrateful as he was clearly contributing to the household in the only way he knows.
