It's always fascinated me why in the US dates are month, then date, then year. Everywhere else in the world that isn't the case. I've also just noticed in US addressing, it's common to have the Street, followed by the building, followed by the floor. Similar principal. As a software guy, if you are finding something this almost makes sense but I think we should go the whole hog.

I'm assuming it will go to Schiphol next (171km). This package will thus make a 1400km trip for what should have been a 15km trip.
