I managed to upgrade my #Mastodon instance's #RaspberryPiOS major release from #bookworm to #trixie on-the-fly, and surviving.
Some shared library updates were binary-incompatible, so Mastodon itself broke, but that got fixed with "bundle install --redownload" and the native stuff got re-compiled.
Apart from that there was some annoying default config changes (like systemd hijacking watchdog), but otherwise all OK, I guess.
Maybe I'll try next #Debian major upgrade in 2030?

I am getting through the holiday break posting backlog and have mixed feelings on this one. First, don’t let the cover fool you. It’s not really about dragons, it plays a very minimal part.
👍 Great character development. Lots of political intrigue and GoT levels of betrayal. Very Machiavellian which is perfect for a quasi Italian setting.
👎 This book is LONG. And so sometimes I was like where is this going? And then there would be some great action to make up for it. BUT the ending, after such a journey, just left me wanting something more definitive.
Also, Celia felt like a huge loose end. I have no clue if there is supposed to be a sequel (doesn’t look like it!) but I just needed a little bit more closure.

👍 An easy to read Romantasy that went down smooth. It definitely had ToG vibes mixed with some Selection series and a dash of Hunger Games. I listened to part of it on audio bc it was free on audible and the narrators were okay.
