It explores a regulation-based hypothesis linking endogenous opioid dysregulation, BPD, and opioid vulnerability, and it asks whether earlier intervention deserves study.

Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) involves intense emotions, fear of abandonment, unstable relationships, and a fragile sense of self. People with BPD feel emotions deeply and may struggle to manage them, causing real distress. It’s not attention-seeking but needs understanding. With DBT and support, many learn coping skills, improve relationships, and build stable lives. Awareness reduces stigma.

Borderline bei Männern, bzw. männlich gelesenen Personen

Immer noch ist die Vorstellung verbreitet, Borderline betreffe ausschließlich (junge) Frauen und mit 25 sei dann, ich spitze etwas zu, eh alles ausgeheilt und gut.

Das geht an der Wirklichkeit vorbei: Borderline kann Menschen über Jahrzehnte begleiten, aber vor allem, Boderline kann auch Männer, bzw. männlich gelesene Personen über Jahrzehnte prägen.

Mein 'kleiner', mittlerweile aber auch schon Ende 40, Bruder macht da Aufklärungsarbeit, ich finde ihn unfassbar mutig. Zugleich ist da Scham, ihm in Kindheitstagen nicht geholfen, nicht auf ihn aufgepasst zu haben, ihm kein guter 'großer Bruder' gewesen zu sein.

Die Süddeutsche Zeitung hat meinen Bruder gestern auf Seite 3 portraitiert.

I experienced one of the freakiest and most painful parts of healing my #mentalhealth that I ever have, but now I feel better.

I have suspected for a while I had been traumatized so heavily by being #homeless that I was experiencing #borderlinepersonalitydisorder of a type where I had two entirely different sides-

A fighter who acted boldly in order to protect myself, and someone vulnerable but anxious when I felt safe.

My personality fused back together and it f**king hurt.
