It's sad, but there are so many that can't tell a bot is posting an AI generated comment on a video just to be noticed and masquerade as a 'real user'. I can tell basically immediately; there are always people who waste their time correcting the nonsense, hallucination engine comments.
Or worse, lending visibility to the bot, which features other bots that have malicious links for unsuspecting users to click. It's a disgusting kind of enterprise. ROFL If I were employed to combat bots at YouTube, my job security would be through the roof. The bot account waves are getting more frequent because I report a ton of them almost every day.
They even pull out ancient accounts that I end up getting banned because the malicious actor behind it can't help themselves.
