I watched a movie this evening which featured the main actress singing "Both sides now" and is was moving until it became too musical-like for my taste. But now I'm in a Joni rabbit hole again, listening to all great versions of Joni performing that song. We did have #BothSidesNow at one sitting and it didn't sound too good. But it still made me happy :)))

I found the story of how Joni Mitchell was inspired to write "Both Sides Now" and the video of her singing the song at the 2022 Newport Folk Festival a wonderful way to start the day. Both are included in this Dan Rather Substack post. I didn't watch the version in the "CODA" clip because I haven't seen the film yet and I wanted to avoid any spoilers.
