Any ideas how to get a #Wine app to pick up a USB peripheral? I created a #Udev rule but beyond that I'm stumped. For the record, I've read all about how USB isn't a core Wine function and that if Wine does control the device the host won't be able to. I'm good with all of that, I think it's fine for my use case.

My use case being: I have a #Roland #TR-6s and I want to try to use the TR Editor via Wine. I was able to get it installed and running finally and now this new roadblock has appeared.

If this doesn't pan out I'll look into setting up a stripped down VM.

Kleine Info am Rande. Falls Du Windows Plugins in Linux nutzt, dann würde ich #Bottles empfehlen. Es hat viele Vorteile, als wenn man Wine direkt in Linux installiert. Fuktioniert auch einwandfrei mit #Yabridge.

A year or two ago I brought an old, heavy glass, bottle I found in the wood home with me. This winter I found another one in the area I was coppicing. It was half buried, upright in the soil. There was a small amount of liquid in the bottom - it smelled of beer. What I didnt realise until I got it home was that it has a glass screw stopper in it. I've never handled one before, just seen them in museums, there's something almost magical about how well it works. #bottles

This is the only thing blocking me from moving entirely to Linux. Cortex Control works fine in Bottles, but the pedalboard is not recognized as USB device in Linux.
