Summers would go on to join the board of #DigitalCurrencyGroup (#DCG), the most important crypto VC fund in the U.S.

one of the more ominous emails in the #epsteinfiles collection is a conversation where #SteveBannon and #Epstein discuss "coin issues", "campaign donations", and "foreign donors" in response to an email about General #MikeFlynn not being trusted with classified intel by the #obama administration.

we can be sure they’re talking about #crypto in the context of campaign donations + foreign donors because epstein asks bannon about "brocks people" (meaning #BrockPierce who’s involved with #Tether / #EOS / lots of chinese exchanges / #Netanyahu / etc) then saying he found a right wing “swiss” crypto bro to work with in #Zug named #JeffreyWernick (who apparently is a Substackoor should you want to test out putting his name in that Substack search bar)

also note the scare quotes around the word "swiss". #Zug is actually a city in #switzerland but #epstein's pretty clearly saying that the crypto bros in Zug aren’t actually swiss.

and just to steel man the case for why that *might* be a reasonable thing to do (it's not, but bear with me) pierce was under 18 when he founded the pedophile ring company (DEN, look it up, there's a whole movie about it called An Open Secret) with a bunch of 30 something sex offenders and while he ended his run as a co-owner of that company well over the age of 18 and ensconced in an apt. in marbella filled with guns and child porn, it's pretty clear that pierce was both a perpetrator and a victim.

unlike his co-conspirators who were hit with massive charges for child abuse pierce was never charged (though he did pay out some very large settlements to a not insignificant number of accusers)

I’ve been talking about the connections between the #Netanyahu family and some of the sketchiest characters in the crypto industry (esp. #Tether co-founder #BrockPierce) for years so I was glad to see #UdiLevy, the former head of #Mossad's economic unit #Tzalsel, starting to ask the same questions of #Qatargate.

Among other things Netanyahu's niece is a part owner of #Bancor, a defi lending platform that imploded in 2022 in hilarious fashion.

Re: #AryehDeri, the man who triggered the mass protests in Israel in 2023, Deri was seen at the groundbreaking for #BrixSoftware, major vendor for #CrossRiverBank, the single largest purveyor of covid relief fraud in the US. CRB received massive investment from #MarcAndreessen's #a16z, both before and after a massive “investment” from a Malaysian police chief who somehow had hundreds of millions of dollars to invest after he “investigated” the #1MDB fraud.
