I made #hamburger #buns today using the Chinese Tangzhong technique and not my usual hamburger bun recipe.
I made some quick sandwiches to try the buns — it wasn’t planned, I just used what we had on hand. I wanted the protein from egg salad sandwiches, but our avocados are also perfectly ripe, so I thought to combine them. Not a bad combo.
The buns are very pillowy-soft and moist, as expected, but have a bit more chew than I’m used to. #bread #food #baking
