@forslund And yes, I too, have often caught myself humming Schneiders "Golden Axe Christmas Edition" whenever December came around. And I'll expect that to carry on for many years - even if I'm not thinking about #C64 chiptunes or remixes.

In the 80s there was a sucessful wave of 8bit computers: ZX Spectrum, Commodore C64, MSX, Amstrad CPC 664, some of them more succesfull than others, but the next 8bit wave IMHO was far from successful.: Spectrum 128/+2, Sinclair QL, Commodore C128, MSX2,... Any thoughts about this?

I couldn't resist from creating a new gameplay clip of our #c64 #roguelike . I was able to do some development today and the player can finally open locked doors with the key dropped by the boss and go down to the next level.
The points where you see the main character teleporting, it's actually an ability that allows her to slide three tiles in any direction, hitting anyone in the two tiles between the initial and final positions (it's just lacking the sprite ATM).

Unfortunately for me, it looks like the @FREEZE64 #C64 magazine is paper-only except the first 15 issues (of 76).

The price for things is reasonable, that's not a problem for me. I prefer reading digital files (PDF for example), but I can see how that is easier to pirate though I'm sure, lol.

Vinny was kind to offer a bulk discount for 10 paper issues and I may do that after going through the past issues to see if anything strikes my imagination/nostalgia bone.

Love seeing niche zines exist, especially for something I'm in to!
