ABB entra al 1 % global con doble calificación A en clima y agua por CDP

Por primera vez, ABB obtiene un lugar en la “Lista A de Agua” de CDP, gracias a la mejora en sus procesos de divulgación y reportes

ABB alcanzó calificaciones A en clima y agua en el ranking 2025 de CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project), una organización sin fines de lucro que evalúa el desempeño ambiental corporativo a nivel mundial. Lo que le permitió que ABB forme parte de la Lista A anual tanto en cambio climático como, por primera vez, en gestión responsable del agua. Con ello, ABB se integra al grupo del 1 % de las 22,100 empresas evaluadas que lograron una calificación doble A.

Anke Hampel, Directora Global de Sustentabilidad en ABB, comentó: “Formar parte de la ‘Lista A’ de CDP tanto en clima como en agua es un reconocimiento importante a nuestro liderazgo en desempeño y transparencia corporativa. Obtener por primera vez una calificación A en agua refleja el fortalecimiento de nuestro enfoque en la gestión de riesgos hídricos, la administración responsable del agua, la gobernanza y una mayor colaboración con proveedores en temas relacionados con el riesgo del agua”.

Ante la presión que el cambio climático, el crecimiento poblacional y la demanda industrial ejercen sobre la seguridad hídrica, ABB reconoce el agua dulce como un recurso finito y compartido y se esfuerza por usarla de manera responsable en toda su cadena de valor. –sn–
