3 days ago - Guy who delivers pet food told me that he has had daily #headaches for years. I related that I was dxd with chronic daily #migraines years ago and had them since I was ~14. I told him I got a #daith piercing and all the head pain just stopped.
He just called. He got the daith done yesterday. He said this morning was the first time in almost 8 years that he woke up and not had to take #codeine. No pain.
Daith piercings work.
Second time noticing I feel more awake with less #pain. I guess that’s not so revelatory, but I’m used to low level pain and milder pain relief. I was so #tired after a nap earlier, was more active than usual for a few hours, still I’m surprised how tired I can be.
I wonder if it’s the stronger pain relief or just the icepack after the heat. #codeine used to make me sleepy and for years I stopped taking it cos came a horrible grumpiness.
