The CSA Group — a not-for-profit standards organization — released for review a new draft standard on the “Selection, Use, and Care of Respirators” (CSA Z94.4:25) for workplaces, specifically including health care. This new standard is designed to ensure much better protection for health-care workers and for everyone seeking health care.

Spouse's prediction likely came to pass: Sister-in-law went to Hanoi and came back. She likely picked up COVID on the plane or in Hanoi. She almost certainly didn't test before any symptoms.

He has himself a bad case, with symptoms which indicate a likelihood of Long COVID.

Upon hearing the news I felt the fighting emotions of sadness and dread on the one hand, to "you-stupid-fuck" on the other.

Spouse and I have sacrificed a lot to stay NoVID, without any understanding from him at all, with, dare I say, thinly veiled contempt.

I hope he recovers quickly.

Installed the diy heat recovery ventilator unit in the window next to dining table where it will pull used air outside and exchange fresh air that’s warmed as it passes by.

I will do more insulation and an interior plastic film storm soon.

It is completely quiet. Another tool in my #CleanAir winter gatherings system.
