Aira on Campus at New Mexico State University! 🎓
Aira's on-demand visual interpreting is now available across all NMSU campuses! This service, available at no cost, aims to make campus life more accessible for the blind and low-vision community.
“Given the experiences of some blind and low-vision students who attend or live on campus, there’s an added effort needed to navigate campus that other students don’t face… Having this type of service is something we’re very excited about.” - Aaron Salas, Director of Disability Access Services.
This initiative is part of NMSU’s LEADS 2025 strategic plan, focusing on making education more accessible for all students. We’re proud to be part of this initiative to expand access for all! 🙌
